We have completed quite a number of property conversions and will take care of the whole project for you. We begin by examining your existing structure, having an in-depth discussion with you and presenting ideas on how best to convert it. We will decide whether it needs to be underpinned, and what drainage and damp proofing will be required.

If it is a barn conversion or other old building, we can supply and fit all of the oak timberwork including the frame, roof trusses and all necessary beams. This is then complemented by the traditional building methods we will employ to retain as much of the building’s original character as possible.

At Shiel Developments, we are also adept at sourcing both new and reclaimed materials, and combining them to make the building both efficient to run and environmentally friendly.

Again, we don’t just work on the exterior of your building, we can help create beautiful, functional interiors. What’s more, if we can’t find what you need, we’ll build it for you.
